3 persons booked for cheating German

The Panjim Police are looking out for three persons who conned a German national of about Rs 34 lakh under the pretext of taking her on board as a partner in their jewellery business.
Amar Singh, Raj and Khan (full names not known) befriended Dickel during her trip to Goa and persuaded her to be their partner and invest in their business.
The trio is at large, police said and a manhunt has been launched to trace them.
Dickel informed in her police complaint that she invested 49,000 euros (approx Rs 34 lakh) in their business and for sending ‘Diamond Jewellery’ to Sydney in Australia. The entire episode happened prior to October 23, 2012.
However, during her trip to Australia she found that the jewellery dispatched to Sydney for the business was not genuine.
