4 thrashed for scrap theft bid
A man and his two sons thrashed four migrant labourers who tried to steal scrap material from their storeroom at Calvaddo-Corlim.
Speaking to Herald, Kandolkar said the culprits would steal his scrap material at an odd hour and he decided to keep a watch at the site.
“After keeping watch for three days, I noticed that the thieves would commit the theft in the afternoon. I hid in the storeroom and alerted my sons, when we noticed four labourers entering our storeroom with sacks to collect the scrap material,” he said.
“We nabbed the four migrants and gave them a sound thrashing,” added Kandolkar. [H]
