Betim Gurusdwara

In Punjabi language the word Guru means Teacher and Dwar means Residence. So it means Teachers Residence.Guru Hargobind introduced the word, “Gurudwara” meaning the gateway through which the Guru could be reached.

Since Goa has a very small settled number of Sikhs. Goa has very few Gurudwara temples.

The foundation stone  of Betim Gurusdwara was laid by Lt. Governor Dr. Gopal Singh on 15th September 1985, and it was inaugurated by Ex-President of India his excellency Giani Zail Singh on 18th December 1986.

Accommodation/Rooms – Six air conditioned rooms are available on chargeable basis. Rooms are subject to availability.
Gathdi Ghar (Luggage Room) – Facility is available on chargeable basis.
Langar (Free Community Kitchen) – Every day, free langar is served between 12 noon to 10 pm in the Langar Hall.
