The Sports Authority of Goa has asked the All India Football Federation to continue with the "existing arrangements" and hold I-League matches at the Duler Stadium in Mapusa.
The Duler stadium in Mapusa was earlier scheduled to hold matches till Sunday, January 20. But it now appears that football enthusiasts in North Goa will be blessed with a lot more matches.
According to those in the know, Duler will host six additional I-League matches till the I-league takes a break for India's AFC Challenge Cup preparations on February 10.
"The first match at Tilak Maidan will only be on March 23 (Salgaocar vs Mumbai FC) when the I-League resumes," said a senior club official.
