First Special Olympics National Softball

women teams which won the gold at first Special Olympics
Bharat National Softball Championship in Alwar, Rajasthan

Special Olympics Goa created history winning the gold in both men and women sections at the first Special Olympics Bharat National Softball Championship at Alwar, Rajasthan, recently.Goa men beat Karnataka 2-1 in the first match and then in the second match, Goa rallied strongly to edge past Delhi 15-14 in a nail-biting affair.

The Goa women’s team scored fluent victories against Bengal 7-2 and Rajasthan 10-0 to claim the top place.

In all, 16 men teams and 11 women teams participated.
