Fish Temperade Recipe

Introduction :

 

Ingredients :

Use 1 cup Assorted Shellfish
Use 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
Use 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
Use 1 cup Grated Coconut
Use 2 Large Onions
Use 3 Dried Red Chillies
Use 3 tbsp Tamarind pulp
Use 1 tsp Sugar
Use 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
Use 6 Flakes Garlic
Use Small piece of Ginger
Use 1 tbsp Oil
Use Salt to taste
Use A little amount of water
 

Preparation:

Heat oil in a pan and seethe the cumin seeds, chillies and coriander till they splutter.
Grind coconut, garlic, onion and ginger to make fine paste.
Seethe this paste in oil.
Add little water and fry for a minute.
Add turmeric powder, tamarind pulp, sugar and salt.
Now add the fish and cook it till sauce gets thickened.
Fish Temperade is ready.
