Five Carmona locals hospitalised for bee attack

As many as five residents of Carmona village had to be hospitalized after they were attacked by bees on Monday evening.
While one of the victim was rushed to a private hospital at Cuncolim, three persons were admitted in Hospicio hospital after they complained of pain and uneasiness.
Panch member Orlando Da Silva said the bees attacked the five, besides animals ostensibly on account of disturbance of their natural habitat by the clearance of forest cover for construction activity. “I have complained the matter to the Forest department and they have agreed to inquire into the same,” Orlando said.
