GFCA congratulates Dempo on being elected AIFF VP

PANAJI: The Goa Football Coaches Association (GFCA) president, Mr Armando Colaco, general secretary, Mr Savio Medeira along with other executive members have congratulated Mr Shrinivas V Dempo on being elected as the vice president of All India Football Federation.

“It is a matter of great pride and joy to all Goans that Mr Dempo has now been elevated to the position of AIFF vice president,” stated Mr Armando Colaco in a communiqué, Friday.
“Mr Dempo is young, dynamic and full of enthusiasm. He is a man of vision and I am sure he will definitely use his good offices at the AIFF to carry Indian and Goan football ahead. His first step at developing football at grassroots is very much appreciated,” Mr Armando continued.
In fact, Mr Dempo’s rise to the position of AIFF VP is highly commendable as he has promised to sort out various issues in Indian football over the next four years. His vision for football has been exemplary and being a successful owner of India’s top football club, Dempo Sports Club Pvt Ltd, Mr Dempo has already set the benchmark for excellence in Indian football.
Mr Dempo also holds the president’s post of the Goa Football Association and now with his election as the vice president of AIFF, there is little doubt that his horizons have widened as far as football is concerned and Indian football should look forward to some exciting times as men like Mr Dempo are all set to team up with the AIFF higher-ups to ensure that Indian football makes the right moves in the times to come.  [NT]
