Goa emerge runners-up

Wushu Association of Goa emerged runners-up in 7th West Zone Wushu Championship organized by Wushu Association of Goa at Indoor Stadium, Peddem, Mapusa, Sunday.
Goa secured 34 medals including 10 gold, 15 silver and nine bronze medals.
Maharashtra emerged champions with a total of 32 medals which included 21 gold, eight silver and three bronze medals.
Results: Senior men- 48kg: Appas Lamani, silver; Hariom Sharma, bronze. 52kg: Vivek Harmalkar, bronze; Atmaram Malewadkar, bronze. 60kg: Manu Lamani, bronze. 65kg: Shailesh Naik, bronze; Kashinath Dhumaskar, bronze. 75kg: Jerome Coutinho, silver. 80kg: Calisto Fernandes, bronze. 85kg: Ajinkya Uddesh, silver. 90kg+: Blake D' Souza, gold.
