Goan Cauliflower Fry

small cauliflower – 1
chili powder –  1   tablespoon
turmeric powder – 1   teaspoon
salt – 1   teaspoon
tamarind paste – 3   tablespoon
water – 3   tablespoon
semolina – 5   tablespoon
oil – 5   tablespoon


1. Cut the cauliflower into small pieces.
2. In a mixing bowl make a paste with turmeric, red chili powder, salt and tamarind paste, adding little water at a   time.
3. Coat the cauliflower with the masala. Roll the cauliflower in rava/semolina.
4. Heat oil in a pan and add the cauliflower once hot. Fry till golden brown on both sides. Serve hot.
