Govt will spare no one, says Manohar Parrikar

Terming the rape of the school girl tragic, chief minister Manohar Parrikar said it was negligence on the part of the school that allowed the boy to roam freely in the premises for an hour. He said no one would be spared in the case.
The chief minister also said that security at the school will be reviewed.
"Considerable time was lost before any action was initiated by the school. The school principal had questioned the boy after one of the teachers found him loitering in the school and reported it to the principal. The principal should have immediately thrown him out of the school premises," Parrikar said.
He added, "Parents send their kids to school so it is duty of the school management and teachers to see that they are safe. My department will issue orders to sensitize teachers especially, in urban areas."  [TOI]
