moong beans – 1 cup
desiccated coconut – 1/2 cup
fresh whole green chilies – 5
jaggery powder – 3 tablespoon
salt – 1/4 teaspoon
water – 2 cup
1. In a pressure cooker add the moong beans with double amount of water.
2. Add in the fresh whole green chilies. Close the lid and pressure cook till you hear 3 whistles.
3. Wait for approximately 10 minutes till the pressure is released to open the lid. Then add in the coconut, jaggery and salt.
4. Mix everything well together. Moong usli is ready to be served.
