Sharayu Toyota on Friday announced the launch of the new versions of Etios and Liva. The new vehicles were launched at the Caculo Mall in Panaji.
Speaking at the unveiling of the vehicles, Mr Gaurish Sakhardande, GM, sales and marketing, said Etios was launched in December 2010 followed by Etios Liva in June 2011. Since then, the range has sold more than 1, 45,000 units.
In Goa, the population of these cars is exceeding 1500 units and with the new look another 1000 vehicles are expected to be sold by year end.
Mr Sanjay Parmekar, DGM, sales and marketing explained the products in detail and said the new Etios and Liva come with a refreshed look – redesigned grille with chrome finish, rear combination lamps with distinct fin pattern, new indicators on side view mirrors, newly introduced classic grey colour. The new interior features are two tone premium interiors, textured dashboard, soft fabric, new 2 din audio with Bluetooth, USB, Aux-in and remote; comfortable new seats, driver seats with height adjust etc. The diesel line up will have the newly introduced J grade at the entry level.
Commenting on the new launch, Mr Amarsinh Patil, executive director and chief executive officer, said, “We have incorporated customer feedback and are looking forward to delighting more customers with the new vehicles. The whole lineup is aimed at giving the customers the latest in features and looks.”
The vehicles are available in the Toyota showrooms starting March 15. As a part of the value added services provided to the customers, Sharayu Toyota is expanding ‘Toyota U Trust’ operations. ‘Toyota U Trust’ aims to offer potential customers an opportunity to exchange their cars of any make for a brand new Toyota, allowing them an opportunity to upgrade.
