Nigerian held with fake visa at Dabolim

Justina Kelechi, a 33-year-old Nigerian national, was arrested at the Dabolim airport on Wednesday morning after she tried to board a flight to Nigeria using a forged Indian visa.
Investigating officer Hiru Kavlekar said, "The immigration cell police first found her passport suspicious and later found that her visa stamp had been forged. They immediately took her into custody and after interrogating her handed her over to the Vasco police in the evening."
Kelechi had been trying to board an early morning Qatar Airlines flight to Nigeria via Doha. The immigration cell grew suspicious about her documents while issuing her a boarding pass. On checking, they found she had no legal permit to stay in India and the stamp on her visa was forged. [TOI]
