North will witness development: MP

 

Stating that not a single village and town in North Goa will be deprived of development, North Goa MP Shripad Naik said he had completed about 700 different projects from the MP’s fund.
Naik was speaking after inaugurating the newly constructed Siddheshwar Navdurga Panchayatan Devasthan Community hall at Surla-Bicholim.
“Work on other development projects is in progress and it will be completed within one-and-half years,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanquelim MLA Dr Pramod Sawant called upon people especially women, youth and other artistes to make optimum use of the community hall. ZP member Laxmikant Parab, Devasthan President Bharat Gaonkar and Kaka Kelkar also spoke on the occasion.
Surla Sarpanch Mangaldas Usgaonkar, Deputy Sarpanch Suhasini Fondekar, panchas, Director of Goa SC/ST Corporation Gopal Surlakar and others were present on the occasion. [H]
