PMC Bank bags ‘NPCI’s Special Jury Award’

 Punjab & Maharashtra Co-operative Bank Ltd. a leading bank in co-operative sector popularly known as ‘PMC Bank’ has added another feather in its cap by winning ‘NFS Operational Excellence Award 2012’ for performing well in two key parameters :  Business Transactions Decline and Chargebacks Ratio.
 
This coveted award was given away at ‘National Payments Corporation of India’s (NPCI) 7th User Group Meeting held recently in Mumbai. While speaking on the occasion Mr Joy Thomas – Managing Director, PMC Bank said “As a philosophy of our bank, the betterment of services to our customers is a continuous process and our bank is always among the firsts to offer newer and technologically advanced services to the customers. However, while adopting such modern technology related services, we consider the human factor and user-friendly aspects of it thereby ensuring minimum errors and ease of operation even by a common man who may not be technology savvy.
