Seminar on food safety in Panaji

 FSSAI in collaboration with Assocham and Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry is undertaking awareness-cum-capacity building seminars/workshops for Food Business Operators (FBOs) in various states including Goa.

 
The seminar/workshop in Goa is scheduled to be held on January 18 at Narayan Rajaram Bandekar Bhawan, Panaji. The programme will be divided into two parts. Part I called ‘Awareness Session’ will begin at 10 a.m. and will be of 2-3 hours duration. The objective of this seminar/workshop is to provide an overview of Food Safety and Regulations under FSS Act 2006 with an aim of generating awareness and increasing compliance among FBOs, awareness about basic concepts of food safety and hygiene such GHP, GMP etc, importance and procedure of registration and to facilitate on the spot registration for the FBOs.
