Sporting Clube face Churchill Bros

Sporting Clube de Goa will lock horns with Churchill Brothers in the I-League at Nehru stadium, Fatorda on Sunday. The kick off time is 5.30pm. Sporting is looking to turn the tide in the I-League.
The players have started to grasp the tactics of new Spanish coach Oscar Bruzon and will use this game as another stepping stone to mould their latest compact style.
The Flaming Oranje were training at the Duler stadium, in Mapusa this week on the recently installed astro-turf and they managed to zip the ball around with real panache against the quick surface, which attracted many curious onlookers and passer bys.
The Sporting Goa players had a special mass on Saturday morning at Don Bosco church in Panjim, where the team and supporters welcomed the new coach Oscar.
Churchill Brothers are currently second in the I-League and will be looking to keep the pressure on league leaders Dempo. They have collected an impressive 22 points from ten matches.
With the I-League matches set to switch to Vasco very soon, this will probably be the last high profile fixture for the Goan football loving crowd to witness at Fatorda stadium for some time.
